Ignatius (Nash) Kargel & Bonaventure (Bon) Kargel
Nash and Bon Kargel – children nos. 4 & 5 out of 12 – were born and raised in the Missouri Ozarks. Their father being a carpenter, with experience in everything from concrete and stonework to framing and finish work, instructed and instilled into them an appreciation for the trade.
After working with him while still young, both at home and on paying jobs, they got traveling positions as welders construction multi-million gallon steel tanks throughout the Midwest and beyond.
During this time, Nash and Bon went home periodically to design and build houses in their home state, at the ages of 21 and 17 respectively.
Always tinkering away at something, the Kargel brothers prospected taking up carpentry for a living. Realizing the high demand for this once-prevalent, now-diminishing trade they took the plunge.
They made the decision to relocate to the Red River Valley in northwestern Minnesota, where they’re currently establishing their name in the construction and carpentry industry.
